Welcome to
Small Business Week

Gold Coast Australia 2008

We would firstly like you to acknowledge that this event is being organized by a group of local small business volunteers. The objective is to stimulate the business economy by having a forum to freely promote our products and services. Actions speak louder than words and we need everyone involved to be proud of their achievements and help support other businesses who are perhaps experiencing difficulties. Our current local economy is in good shape, contrary to some speculators, we need to come together, stay together and work together to continue our success. Each and every one of us can play a very important part and make Small Business Week an annual event that will get better and better each year. Please, please participate and support this positive and unprecedented movement.

Small Business Exposè - Gold Coast Convention Centre 11.00 am – 4.00 pm

Don’t just sit there – do it! Hundreds of small businesses will have the opportunity to gather at the Convention Centre to promote their products and services. The aim is to connect as many businesses with each other as is possible in half a day. There will be free tickets to movies, sporting events and lots of product freebies. Raffles, door prizes and much, much more. So come and join the carnival and get your brand in the public eye. It’s all positive promotion and its FREE!

Promotional Auction

There will be an auction on the day so companies have the opportunity to promote and sell their products on the day – you will receive the proceeds but will have to sell for the price achieved on the day. Contact the event organizers if you wish to auction off your product or service.

Speed Meet

Sort of like speed dating (I’m told) but a fantastic way to meet new business acquaintances and share your experiences, problems/issues and begin to build valuable relationships.

Free Showbags

An oldie, but a goodie! Free showbags, jam packed with special discounts, giveaways, local product & services information.

Inspirational Speakers Forum

A fantastic opportunity to learn and take away valuable ideas and suggestions from some of the best business people around. A combination of industry experts in Finance, Economics, Human Resources, Marketing &Advertising, team building, business management etc. More information will be available shortly, but you cannot afford to miss this opportunity to educate yourself and gain support from likeminded professionals.
